Advances in urological oncology focus on renalcancer

The purpose of the course is to provide state-of-the-art knowledge and future perspectives of basic and translational research, detection techniques and therapeutic strategies of renal tumours in a multidisciplinary approach. this topic is particularly stimulating in view of the fact that many significant advances have been made in recent years in the field of renal cancer, among which the introduction of targeted therapy for metastatic disease. scientific session will include interactive discussion between the faculty and the participants. some of these sessions will be organised under the form of "role playing on daily issues" (chaired by proff. fortunata iacopino, giovanni luigi pappagallo and carlo pavone) during which small groups of participants will meet international experts who will share with them their views and experience. the course will be held under the aegis of the italian society of urological oncology (siuro).
